We are happy to announce the latest issue (Vol.14 No.1) of Taiwan International ESP Journal has been published!
Edited by Prof. Fei-Wen Cheng, this issue featured 3 general research articles:
General Research
(1) Mahmood Reza Atai and Armin Abbasi who together explored the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Needs of Iranian Students of Medicine and evaluated the efficacy of respective EAP courses in addressing these needs.
(2) Radina Mohamad Deli and Su-Hie Ting conducted a corpus-based study that examined the use and distribution of lexical verbs in the academic writing of L2 engineering undergraduates.
(3) Lin Zhao and Issra Pramoolsook conducted an exploratory study aimed at identifying the rhetorical move-step structure of the Introduction section in Traditional Chinese Medicine research articles (TCM RAs).
